TMC222 Module

The Module is a circuit board with a TMC222 (65 x 43)mm². The TMC222 is a combined micro-stepping stepper motor motion controller and driver with RAM and OTP memory. Communications to a host takes place via two wire seriel interface (I2C).

The module contains the following interfaces:

  • WAGO-clamps: voltage supply 8V..29V - input.

  • WAGO-clamps: voltage supply 8V..29V - output - for further TMC222 Modules.

  • I2C-Interface for communication with the TMC222 - input - (SDA,SCL,GND).

  • I2C-Interface for communication with further TMC222 Modules -output- (SDA,SCL,GND).

  • WAGO-clamps: for stepping motor.

  • External switch. (GND,SWI,VBat)

  • Hardwired adress bit (GND,HW,VBat)

 

With one of the following adapters it is easy to hog the appliance of the stepper motor controller TMC222 from Trinamic and to evaluate its features. It is also possible to control up to 32 devices with only one adapter.
